What we collect

Contact details you provide, and the documents you upload or mail to us for the sole purpose of assessing and processing your apostille or legalization request.

How we use it

To verify documents, prepare government submissions, arrange shipping, and communicate about your file. We never sell personal information, and we share it only with the parties strictly necessary to complete your order: the competent government authority, partner notaries or translators you approve, and shipping carriers.

Storage & retention

Digital files are stored on encrypted infrastructure located in Canada where feasible. Scans and physical mail are retained only as long as needed to complete your file and meet legal record-keeping obligations, then destroyed. You may request deletion of your digital files at any time at info@viapostille.ca.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These analytics cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner, if you decline, no analytics or tracking scripts are loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Your rights

Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA, you may access, correct or request deletion of your personal information.
