Common questions
Where do I find my order number and access code?
Both are in the email we sent when your order was created, and in every email since. If you cannot find them, reply to any message from us and we will resend them. We never publish them anywhere.
Why do I need an access code as well as an order number?
Because order numbers run in sequence, and without a second factor anyone could try numbers until they landed on someone else’s file. Your documents can include divorce, medical and civil status records, so we treat that risk seriously.
The status has not changed in two weeks. Is something wrong?
Usually not. Government processing is the longest stage and it moves without notifying anyone. We update this page the day anything changes. If a file is genuinely stuck, we email you rather than leaving you to notice.
Can I see where my documents physically are?
Once they ship, yes. A carrier link appears with the tracking number, going straight to Canada Post, UPS, DHL, FedEx or Purolator depending on what we used.
