What we handle
Certified translation
When the destination authority needs your document in another language, we arrange a certified translation accepted for official use, and, where required, get the translation apostilled too so document and translation travel together. Priced by language pair and page count.
The certification belongs to the translator who signs and seals the work, we match your document to the right one and verify the credential.
Consular & embassy legalization
Apostilles only work for Hague Convention members. For everywhere else, we coordinate the full chain, authentication, then legalization at the destination country's embassy or consulate, so your document is valid where you actually need it.
Notarization coordination
Many documents must be notarized before they can be authenticated. We coordinate notarization, including remote online notarization where available, and, in Québec, the mandatory signature-verification step at the Chambre des notaires or Barreau.
Document retrieval
Don't have the original yet? We order vital-records certificates (birth, marriage, death), RCMP criminal-record checks and diploma/transcript copies on your behalf, then take them straight through apostille, no detour back to a government counter.
eApostille handling
Your document was issued as a signed PDF and no authority will apostille a printout. We take the digital original, run it through the certified true copy route, and return an apostille from the right competent authority. What is really electronic, and what is not.
Secure shipping & digital copy
Tracked, insured courier for your originals, inbound and return, anywhere in the world, always by the fastest available method, with a tracking number and a notification the moment they're picked up. Plus a PDF scan of the finished set the day it's ready, so you can act before the paper even lands.
Rush handling
On a deadline? Expedited processing, and rush notarization or signature verification where the authority allows it. Tell us the date, we'll tell you honestly what's possible before you pay.
Current processing times
What all six Canadian authorities are reporting right now, with the date each figure was checked, and how to turn that into a realistic door-to-door estimate for your own file.
Notarization
Private documents cannot be apostilled until a notary certifies them, and the wrong signature gets the file refused. We coordinate the right professional, in the right province, at cost with no markup.
Certified translation
Most destinations want the document in their own language, and whether you translate before or after the apostille depends entirely on the country. We confirm the order before anyone is engaged.
Certified, by the right authority for the destination
"Certified" means different things in different places. We match your document to a translator whose credential the destination accepts: OTTIAQ-certified translators for Québec, ATA-certified for the United States, and sworn or court-accredited translators recognized abroad. We verify the credential, manage the work, and deliver the sealed certified translation, ready to be apostilled if the receiving authority requires it.
