Who this is for

An apostille without the stress, for the people who need it most

An apostille can be needed at any age: a power of attorney for a property overseas, a pension or benefit in the country of birth, an inheritance, a marriage. When getting around, hearing, seeing or going online is hard, we adapt to you, not the other way around.

  • Seniors and their families

At home, in a seniors' residence or a long-term care centre. We take the time to explain, read the documents back with you and repeat as often as needed.

  • Reduced mobility or a disability

No travel, no waiting room, no counter. We pick up the documents at your door and bring the apostilled originals back the same way.

  • Deaf or hard of hearing

Every exchange in writing if you prefer: text messages for the pickup time, the instructions and the updates. No phone call needed, ever.

  • Blind or low vision

We read every document and receipt out loud before you sign, and send the instructions in large print or by email so your screen reader can read them.

  • Not comfortable with computers

No account to create, no online form, no upload. A phone call, a visit and paper you can hold. We fill in the government forms for you.

  • Family abroad, parent in Canada

A son or daughter in another country can handle the file with us by email or WhatsApp, while we look after the parent here and keep everyone informed.

How we accompany you

Eight things we do on every accompanied file

The legal steps are the same as for any apostille. What changes is how we get there with you: on the ground, by video, in writing, at your pace.

  1. A first conversation at your pace

By phone, by text or by video, whichever is easiest. We listen, ask what the document is for, and tell you in simple words what will happen and what it costs. Nothing is decided in a hurry.

  2. We check the documents before anyone moves

A photo taken by you or a relative is enough. We confirm the right authority and the right version first, so no one makes a trip for nothing.

  3. We come to your door

Our courier picks up the documents at your home, residence or care centre in Greater Montréal, at a time that suits you. Outside Montréal, we mail you a prepaid envelope with printed steps.

  4. A notary in person or by video, when one is needed

If a document must be signed before a notary, we book a partner notary for you, in person or by video when the act allows it, and stay with you on the call if you wish.

  5. Text only, if you prefer

For deaf or hard-of-hearing clients, or anyone who prefers to write, every instruction, time and update comes by text message or email.

  6. Family included, with your permission

With your written consent, a relative can speak for you, receive the updates and ask the questions, even from another country and another time zone.

  7. A signed receipt, in two copies

At pickup, a receipt lists every document and every cheque handed over. You keep one copy, the courier keeps the other. You always know what is with us.

  8. Updates at every step, then the originals back home

We let you or your family know when each step is done, send a scan of the apostilled documents, and bring the originals back to you or ship them abroad by tracked courier.

An accompanied file, step by step

A mother in Montréal, her daughters in two countries

A typical accompanied file. A mother in her nineties needs three notarized documents apostilled for her country of birth. One daughter lives in another country; the other lives near her in Montréal and prefers to communicate only in writing.

  1. The first callThe daughter abroad calls us. We explain the route in plain words and send the quote by email, so the whole family can read it.
  2. PaymentShe mails a cheque to her sister, who hands it over at pickup. No card, no online payment needed.
  3. The pickupWe text the sister the day and time, never a phone call. Our courier collects the three originals at her apartment and both sign the receipt.
  4. The authoritiesWe file each document with the right office and keep the daughter abroad informed by email at each step.
  5. The returnThe apostilled originals come back to the same address, with the tracking sent to both daughters.

Processing times are set by each government office. We give you a realistic date before you pay, and we tell you right away if anything changes.

Our promise

What you can count on, and what we will never do

You can count on us to

  • Take the time. No question is too small, and we repeat as often as needed
  • Speak plainly. Every step explained without jargon, in English or in French
  • Put everything in writing. The quote, the receipt and each update
  • Keep one contact. The same person follows your file from start to finish
  • Tell the truth about delays, before you pay and whenever they change

We will never

  • Rush you into signing or deciding anything on the spot
  • Take a document without a signed receipt listing it
  • Share your information with anyone you have not authorized
  • Give legal or immigration advice. We handle the documents; the receiving office sets its requirements

Questions families ask
Can someone else handle an apostille for my elderly parent?
Yes. The apostille confirms the signature already on the document, so the person named in it does not have to go to any office. A son, a daughter or a friend can deal with us from start to finish. If the parent must sign something new, such as a power of attorney, they sign before a notary, at home or by video when the act allows it.
Does my parent have to travel anywhere?
Not in Greater Montréal. Our courier picks up the documents at the home, the seniors' residence or the long-term care centre, and brings the apostilled originals back the same way. Elsewhere in Canada, we mail a prepaid tracked envelope with printed step-by-step instructions, and guide you by phone or video.
Can you come to a hospital, a seniors' residence or a CHSLD?
Yes, anywhere in Greater Montréal where visits are allowed: the island, Laval, the South Shore, the North Shore and Vaudreuil. We set the time with you, your family or the staff, and a signed receipt lists every document we take.
My mother is deaf. Can everything be done in writing?
Yes. On request, every exchange happens by text message or email: the quote, the pickup day and time, the courier's arrival, the receipt and each update. No phone call is ever needed.
I live abroad and my father is in Canada. How does it work?
You deal with us by email, WhatsApp, phone or video, at times that suit your time zone, and we take care of everything on the ground. With your father's consent, you receive the quote and every update. The apostilled originals go back to him, or by DHL Express to you or to the office abroad.
Can a notary come to the home?
When a document must be signed before a notary, such as a power of attorney, we book a partner notary for you, in person or by video when the act allows it, and can ask for one who travels to the home or the residence. The notary bills their own fee directly.
How do we pay, and is it safe?
By cheque handed over at pickup, by Interac e-Transfer, or with a secure card payment link sent by email. You receive a written total before paying anything. We never ask for a bank password, a PIN or a card number by phone, text or email.
Does the accompaniment cost more?
No. The published prices apply: $139 per submission for a public document and $229 for a first Québec notarized document, with government fees at cost. Pickup and return at home are included in Greater Montréal; elsewhere in Canada, prepaid shipping is $80 both ways.
